Into the light

It’s light that captures the spirit of a space, the memories, the emotions, the stories. It’s light that creates a connection, how I feel, what I search for. It suggests a path forward, or a moment of calm to just be, to reflect within.

My journey at this time feels like a search in a deep suitcase full of thoughts, recreating hazy memories, puzzling fragments together to build one whole. The feeling of longing. Longing for belonging. Maybe this feeling of searching will forever stay, or maybe it‘ll become a story, creating my reality.

Maybe one day I will get a chance to not need to choose between those I love most. Or maybe I'll finally learn to just be.
